GEARex all-steel gear couplings can be configured with a very short shaft distance, regular shaft distance, or short shaft distance, and the hubs can be mounted in different positions to meet customer requirements. The hubs are locked in place and are connected to the coupling sleeve with threaded joints or interference fit. The construction of the sleeve and hub allows for the transmission of high torques. The cover design makes it easy to mount the coupling to the shaft.
